Exploring the Wildlife of Etosha National Park


Etosha National Park is situated in the north of Namibia, as if in paradise for wildlife followers. The range of species living in the park is very wide, from elephants and lions to giraffes and rhinos, among other representatives. Of notable beauty are the large salt pans, especially in the dry season, shining under the African sun.


At Etosha, nature lovers can look at game drives and guided tours that give an outlook on these majestic creatures. The diversified landscape, right from the grasslands to woodland, holds many animals and bird life. A must-visit to any nature lover is Etosha National Park, where Namibia's conservation spirit is vouched for.

  The Himba People of Namibia: A Glimpse into a Rich Culture In the furthest areas of Northern Namibia, the Himba stand out with a rich traditional culture and stunning appearance. Himba girls, usually having the most complex hairstyle, most often have their hair covered with red ochre, butter, and animal fat, thus keeping the tradition alive. It is the central stage of their community because most of their life is semi-nomadic, whereby they depend highly on herding cattle and goats, with women taking the center stage. The Karamojong are mostly referred to as artisans.
